You can choose your main entree: chicken tenders, bone in chicken, chicken fried steak, etc. All entrees come with unlimited sides of salad, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans. Those are refilled as requested. Only leftovers you can take to go if dining in is the chicken. You also get biscuits with honey, butter, and molasses.

It's like sitting down to dinner at Grandma's house. Only you get to choose the meat you want. They have chicken tenders, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, etc. They keep the vegetables coming. But only one meat. They do the hokie pokie and get customers up and doing it to. It's a fun place. Great place for kids. Everyone sits together! They have long tables and seat everyone together. It's just like going home! The owners are amazing people who give all the glory to God.
It isn't five types of chicken. There is chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, catfish, fried chicken, and smoked chicken. Two of which are not actually chicken.
You choose your meat from a list and all the sides just keep on coming as long as you ask. They serve a salad while the entree is being prepared. Then, for sides: mashed potatoes,gravy, green beans, fried corn, which is like creamed corn, and biscuits. Their sides are excellent. I haven't been there but twice. Good chicken fried lsteak. It is a restaurant everyone knows and wants to try at least once. It isn't noisy like Our Place..that's a plus..a little on the dark side..lighting is minimal. Try it...see what You think.
There are 5 types of chicken you can choose from if you look up the menu online. They will bring a salad and biscuits out first. When the chicken comes out they bring mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and green beans that can be refilled as often as you like. They only have bags for leftovers so no boxes which I think is so wasteful. The Burleson location is awesome! Enjoy!
