Clothing and other soft goods can stay in the regular pull-out drawers. Loose items that could fall back behind the drawers should be removed, as well as anything fragile. (sometimes a dresser or chest will be turned onto its side in order to maneuver around a turn or in a stairwell). If you have a piece of furniture with hinged doors, everything should be removed from behind the doors. If doors or drawers need to be secured for the move, we will use large rubber bands instead of tape to avoid marring the finish of your furniture.
