It works much like a bank - come up to the drive-through window, and a library assistant will open the drawer to get your library card from you. They will then scan your card and get any of the items you have ready for pickup, and give them to you via the drawer. It's very easy.
Brown Deer library is closed now till possibly the March 17th. When they open at that time until early March they'll only be doing drive through pick up. But I'm not sure what that looks like at the new building. If you go on the Brown deer website you may be able to find some information.
