Are there any cabins or hotels near by that someone could stay at when visiting and see the bands on the fourth of July weekend?

There are plenty of hotels in near by towns such as Crystal Lake and McHenry.

I don't know of any. Chain O Lakes State Park is nearby they may have cabins. I know they offer camping

Holiday inn or Holiday Express in Lake Zurich. And of course, check out Airbnb.

We come out of Chicago and the Suburbs only for the Events. We do not sleep there, just ridding Home after. Sorry can not help you.
