I agree, that's an impossible question to answer because it really depends on what exactly is wrong with the instrument. The best thing to do is to call him and make an appointment and have him go over the horn which is free. He will then give you a price to fix it and various options on what you can do to it. I think you'll be surprised at how inexpensive it might end up being. Give him a shot!
