Unfortunately, yes. Your current engine will have metal shavings inside it and it will have damaged other parts. The engine might be rebuildable, but it would take a total rebuild. A good used engine from a total loss vehicle would be a cheaper alternative. We would need the VIN of your vehicle to determine price and availability.
