These guys have all your needs. Its such an awesome place to go. All the people that work there have the best knowledge on all your questions. Ive seen jack dempsey fish there an ton of veriatys to choose from.
I would definitely go down there that way you can see the store for yourself. It's true that the stocking changes from day to day depending on what is sold and how much of it is sold. But typically they do have jack dempseys, but in the rare case that they dont Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days where they get fresh shipments in every week

Their inventory can change daily depending on how many of each fish are sold that day. I would just go down there. There's so much cool stuff to see! I've always loved this place.
