There is an Executive Residency at Norterra which is an affordable but nice option. JW Marriott Desert Ridge is a higher end resort nearby, as well as the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort.
Well there is the Drury Inn. located at I-17 and Pinnacle Peak Road it's a midrise 4 star. 1.5 mi west of that is the Marriot at 19th Ave and Pinnacle Peak Road it's a low mid-rise three or four star. I only recommend Scottsdale accommodations if your event is in Scottsdale otherwise it's been my experience and that of others I know and trust, that law enforcement is out of control toward any type of reveller (Which is like anyone out past 7 p.m.) Like vampires thirsting for the revenues. It's no longer a well kept secret. I was stopped because my fuel cap door was open, and informed that I "could receive a ticket for that." True story!
I would look at Scottsdale for accommodations
