I went with kids this past weekend, but it was at about 5 pm. There is a sign that no kids are allowed in the pool after 2 pm. I suspect the place may get a bit rowdy after sunset.
As far as I know kids are welcome. But I may not recommend it due to the adult fun. But still a great place. And I also really liked the fact that we could see the kids on the beach right across the street. I was on the top deck facing the ocean so...
When we there in the afternoon their were kids running from the pool to the bathroom. I do not remember the time.
