What time do they serve lunch
Our daily bread is not a food bank. It is more like a soup kitchen where the food is prepared & served restaurant style. You have to apply for services. People do not take food home with them. Again, not a food bank.
Day shelter only 8am-4pm, nightly shelter Salvation Army!
You can always ask. They get donations of stuff all the time.
As of last known earlier in the year when I inquired about their services they did. Also GUM (Galveston Urban Ministires also helps with assistance in acquiring those kinds of documents.

My name is Rick I am a homeless client at our daily bread yes they do serve breakfast and lunch and they always welcome volunteers they do an excellent jobs helping their clients I don't know what I would do without them..
I think breakfast is about 845 am. Sign up for lunch by 10am. Lunch is served about 11:40 am. If you are a new guest, there is a simple form to fill out. If you are already a client, and can't sign in for lunch due to an appointment or something, you can call before 10am and tell them you r coming. Bon appetite!
