Combo of trails can multiply into many miles of solitary hiking, up and down hill with views of the bayou, over RR tracks, or onto a flat trail joining many others as they run, walk dogs, or walk along Memorial Drive, and other park roads

There is a network of trails for hiking/ biking south of Memorial Drive. They have a little verticality (the Loop is flat) with more bumps and tree roots to deal with.
The main trail is a shade under 3 miles. However, there are miles if trails and another road loop if you cross Memorial to the south. When i put the two loops together I was able to get 4.5 to 5 miles in.
Some runners will run the loop than across the street, near the soccer fields, to run on the bike trails in the woods. Not sure how many additional miles are across the street.
The exercise trail is 2.93 miles.
