Hey Chris, I travelled with my international drivers license just in case although they say you don't need it... as for insurance it's all inclusive in the hire price, there is obviously a big excess should you wreck the car... I couldn't find a travel insurance company that covered damage to vehicles, only covered me for personal injury... I hired the hurican for 24hrs and it was awesome, we paid the extra fees and did a day trip out to the grand canyon. I was really worries about hiring such a car and the hidden fees/costs/penalties that could be involved, not with this company. They might not be the cheapest in Vegas however they were a absolute pleasure to do business with.
