Mimi's Cafe in Las Vegas has a variety of breakfast offerings. My review is only of the Benedicts, nothing else. The staff was polite. Donna was my waitress . She handled my needs well including coffee refills. I want to let you know that have a "top ten" list for Benedicts. After my visit I was not able to rate these "Bennys" in my top 10. #1 being the best and #10 not as good. I found Mimi's Las Vegas sub standard for Eggs Benedicts. My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price #1 - taste: They use hickory smoked ham. This was the only part I liked. I asked for easy poached eggs and was presented with medium and hard. Donna said the Hollandaise sauce was made from scratch. I found it had a very strong butter taste instead of Hollandaise. You can see the butter glistening in the picture. The reason I review Eggs Benedict is because of the difference in the flavor of the Hollandaise sauce. They had no hashbrowns . The potatoes they have tasted very spicy. All of this kept the review to 2 stars. #2 -presentation : The presentation was not good so not getting the full 70% value. #3-price: $14.49 is on the high side with Bennys even with hash browns let alone with spicy potatoes . Coffee for $2.99 a cup is the old normal. If I was doing a top 100 list not sure it would make it. Don't mean to be negative but that is how it worked out.
