Our esthiology program requires students to have 600 hours of training. This training includes lessons in skin care and how to perform these services with natural products. Students will learn how to perform these Aveda rituals and techniques by practicing them on real guests under the direct supervision of licensed professionals.
In our 1600-hour program, students study a variety of techniques in hair cutting and coloring, nail and skin care, makeup, and more. These lessons are taught through a combination of classwork and practical learning where students practice what they’ve learned on real guests. All of this is done in our student salon where our licensed professionals are ready to direct and give advice to our students.
Aveda is well-known for its commitment to creating high-quality products that are eco friendly. As an Aveda student, you’d be working with these products and learning Aveda-specific techniques from experienced and talented beauty professionals. The vast network of Aveda schools and salons are also opened up for our graduates who understand and already live the mission and values set by the Aveda brand.
At Aveda Institute Las Vegas, we offer programs in cosmetology and esthiology. Both of these programs cover the latest trends and techniques, how to prepare to sit for the state licensing exam, career advice, and more. All of these lessons are taught through our unique Aveda lens while using products that are environmentally friendly.
