The JW Marriott chain of hotels has nothing to do with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Rather, they have ties to the Church of Latter Day Saints, or the Mormons as they are better known.
To clarify, no, JW Marriott is named after J. Willard Marriott, the founder of Marriott International. As far as Marriott's religious ties, some of the family are known members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but the company has no direct ties to the church.
