They will...its just that life's emergency situations are met first...if you or someone else is hurt than a paramedic will be dispatched first most likely...if any legal matters need to be handled well that's something thst can be worked on later once all the dust has settled and everyone being well is first priority...if someone has a dog that is being used as a weapon than of course the police will show up!! Reports and complaints can be handled over the phone...
Metro Police does not respond to dog on dog attacks they only respond in the event of threat to human life. Clark County Animal Control will respond to dog attacks in the park however most of the time their units are limited. If you experience a dog attack any Clark County Parks you can call Clark County Animal Control and they will take a report. You can call them anytime and if you leave a message they will respond. This is from a former Clark County animal control employee.
If a dog is attacked while in the parking lot, they will respond. However, if it is inside the park, they will not. People should only bring their dogs if they are sociable with other dogs and people. Unfortunately, once in a while we will get a pet owner who is oblivious to the rules that are posted. Overall, most dogs do get along with each other. I've been coming daily for over 10 years. I love this park💕 Eric Hamilton, they do have a designated small dog area now for dogs 35 lbs. and under😊, so come on back and let your dog have fun!
Probably for the same reason they won't establish a small dog area. They don't care.
