Teresa, if you do a walk in, the only thing that will work in your case is to drop off all your necessary paperwork. You will then be able to pick up all your registration docs and such a week later. They will take a copy of your license and credit card and will give you a very close estimate your fees. There's still a bit of standing in line, but it's still a lot less on site than the usual. If you arrive before they open, you will be first in line or very close. This process worked better than the usual for me.
