My ID has been expired for over a year, what do I need to take with me to get it updated and how much will it cost? Can't do it online, already tried.

Your photo is already in the DMV's photo base so it won't be a problem at all do you have the real ID the one with the gold star on it if not take your social security card and your birth certificate and they'll update the whole thing
