If you just purchased the vehicle they will give you a 30 day permit. If you already owned it they will tell you that you are only allowed a 10 day permit. I owned my vehicle out of Arizona and they told me a 30 day permit is only given if I had just bought it. They only gave me a 10 day permit. Plenty of time.
If you just bought the car it will be $2 I would advise you to set an appointment because the lines are very long there and you will be waiting 3 to 4 hours just for a moving permit
