There are a few different ways to have you blood pressure (BP) read for free. The first and most common is to go to Walmart or Kroger, they have a free standing machine in most locations that will read your BP and then if you want it to, it will send the results to your Email so you can keep track of your results. The second and lesser known way is to go to your local Fire Department. The beauty of this is if your having a hypertensive incident they can transport you to the appropriate care facility. The last option is to go either go to Walmart, Kroger, or even shop online and you can purchase a sphygmomanometer (a BP cuff). With this option you need to know, if it's a manual cuff, how to use it. If you purchase a automatic cuff DO NOT! get a wrist cuff. They do not give accurate reading. In my personal and professional opinion I suggest option 2. It's free and you have a medical professional there should there be any issues.
