If I work for a company and my hours are 7am-11pm with no break or 7am-7pm with no break is that illegal?

7 am to 11 pm. that is 16 hours!!! that is insane, find another job. I've never heard of 16 hour shift unless your a fireman.

Illinois has laws that govern hours of work as it relates to breaks. Are you in a union? That can also be a factor.
