I have always liked going to home Depot in the past, but when I returned a ceiling fan that did not work I had a receipt for it and clerk refused to give me cash back I was not happy. And I had bought 2 other ceiling fans the day before.

Receipts also have expiration dates normally 30 to 90 days, after the receipt has expired you can only get store credit. This is most places with the exception of costco. Check the expiration of the receipt

Yes my debit card but would not put it on my debit card, only on a store card.
