I just had an planet audio touchscreen installed in my Explorer. The DVD player is not working properly. I can hear audio but the screen keeps telling me to put it in park in order to see video. What should I do

Buy a bypass switch and it will work.

That is a safety feature that comes with the unit. It is up to the store installing to bypass that. Reason being, its a liability to watch a movie while driving down the road

I'd say that's a safety feature. But that depends on if it's in park at the time of error. If it is then contact either the store or planet audio themselves.
