In addition to the speed of your package, I would look at: 1. How many devices are online and using WiFi? If you have three TVs, two computers and four smartphones all on at the same time, it will be a lot slower than just one TV. 2. How old are your modem and router? My bf replaced his ten year old modem and it made a HUGE difference! I know I have to replace my 6-7 year old modem, as well...I’m sure that is the reason my home internet is not exactly optimal speed. 3. The size, speed and location of the modem and router can also be a culprit. I would check those things first. I’ve considered upgrading to whole home, but that is an additional monthly charge. I rent my modem from Midco, and I know it can be replaced at any time. A six year old modem is basically ancient. So, in my case, I’m sure if I exchange my modem for a new one, it will solve any issues I have with slow internet.
Perhaps the package you have is not fast enough? I have Netflix, Hulu, and a couple t.v. apps and rarely have any buffering issues.
