A 3 year old will probably not enjoy the full dinner theatre experience. The shows are to long and the kids get restless and can't move around ruining the show for other patrons. We took a 5 year old that can mostly sit through Disney animated movies and she couldn't last the whole show. However, BDT does offer children matinees. Call the theater for information on those. They are specifically designed for young kids.

Warning BDT has drifted away from being family-friendly. Language and situations in plays have become adult oriented. Not recommended for children in my opinion.
