My brother's fiance threw all of his paperwork out. He was living in Ohio and came to Detroit. He doesn't anything to prove his identity. Will they still help him?
Hi I volunteer at crossroads. The first step is to make an appointment. At the appointment, you would need your social security card, a picture id, and a couple pieces of mail addressed to you. It wouldn't hurt to bring anything like a bridge card to prove you're low income. The counselor will also ask where you were born to know where to send the birth certificate request.
