No... I wouldn't buy there meat... I don't like the price... I buy meat package from West side food market on the corner of 15 and Taft... Fresh meat and clean. Tho I still clean it anyway... Great meat and gray value... Price is right...
I've never experience a bad smell in the store. Whatever it is i hope the store is trying to deal with it and make it better.
Yes i have. The meat smells rotten. I would buy there meat cause it's cheaper then other places and i kid you not, If i don't cook it that day it goes bad even in freezer. I now will pay more an get better meat from other places. That's my opinion. It's the bad meat that smells in there..i believe there meat refrigerators are not working correct an Its warmer then it should be an thus the meat spoils quicker an that's the smell. Again my opinion
No, I'm sorry, but even though there are new owners, I have not been in that store, and my best advice to you is to let them know that you are aware of the smell and they need to do something about it before someone really comes in and black ball that store! It's slowly happening to the store in lake station. I hear word that that store is not at all up to standards. Just saying. The first time I see anything that crawls, run across the floor and bad meat, I will never enter ever again! My family's health is more important than making store owners rich and not showing their store in good standard! Hope I have helped.

I just moved to Gary and it's the closest store to me and I get frustrated with myself everytime I have to go in there because the thought of buying food from a place that smells like that is not normal
