Sorry you are having this issue. However please remember Illinicare Health Plan is a Medicaid program so if it is not covered that is because Medicaid wont cover it.
I wish you the best of luck trying to get Illinicare to help you. I've been trying for over a year to find another Otolaryngologist since they won't allow me to see the ones that were taking care of my health issues. Illinicare has refused to pay for medical testing & necessary medical care! It's infuriating! I've called IC countless times to speak to my case manager , she has never called me. I'm in extreme pain& discomfort, I'm losing function in my neck, my face, & my ability to breathe yet I still cannot get into a Dr to get help. Completely unacceptable! Today I thought after all this time IC gave me Dr to call. Well low & behold that Dr is no longer in that office. They can schedule me an appointment a month out however in order to find out if I can see that Dr I have to go thru IC... OH MY GOODNESS REALLY?!? I truly believe IC believes if they keep putting me off, I'll die then won't have to pay anything! So stupid!
