If it's rated R yes. You can try purchasing the tickets online to bypass any possible IDing however the ticket checker might still ask for ID as per policy depending on how "young" you appear. I was turned away from a rated R movie a many years ago so I learned a thing or two.
Most likely because when I had went to see Demon Slayer it apparently was an r rated movie and they had asked my aunt for her ID
