Have had blue birds attacking their reflection in our windows for the last 2 months. Request ideas on how to stop or mitigate the problem. They make a mess on the windows.

They make decals for birds that they can see but are clear, so they are not very noticeable on your windows.

easiest and cheapest thing to do is to block the reflection on the outside of the window with white paper. this will keep them from seeing their reflection and think it is another bird in their territory. This behavior is during nesting time. After a couple of weeks you can take the paper off. the decals help with birds hitting the window when flying but this behavior is territorial behavior and you just need to block the reflection.
