I've never had a bad experience with the service or food. Lucky's our favorite. Haven't found any restaurant that compares.
I would say a year ago this was one of the better establishments in this area, but of late it has changed. The problem is not the service , that is always great. However the quality of the food has gone down. Yes they will work with you, but folks don't go out to have that experience. We have had several bad experiences in the last year. We do continue to go back as it is hit and miss, but would have to say it's not what it used to be.
working in the food service business for 20+ yrs understand it being a holiday but the last 3 times ive eaten there i was not happy with it. I would rather drive to Davison and eat at that one than drive 4 miles from my house to eat at the imlay City one.
@cynthiaBrunk. Honestly I would give them another try. It was a Holiday, sure that shouldn't be a excuse, they are Worth it in my opinion. I Would definitely try again.
Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Did u ask to be compensated somehow or to have something taken off of your bill? Understand it was the 4th of july and it was probably slammed which is no excuse for bad tasting food but, im 100% positive if you would have asked and im assuming you didnt, but if you would have they with no problem would have taken care of you in some way or another. I have been to Lucky's myself approx 25 times and to be perfectly honest have had 0 complaints about the service or the food. But if i did have a bad experience trust and believe i will say something and my bill will reflect that. Personally it takes a few times having bad service or food for me to never go back to any restaurant because i totally understand you can not please everyone and s*** happens.
