I was just there and someones kid was stressing the cats out and they all ran in the hole and maybe 4 were still out and sleeping 2 of the 4 seemed upset and didnt want to be touched i think an employee was out but the kid was trying to crawl in the hole and wouldnt stop waving toys in there face when they didnt want to play i love this place snd will continue to give them business but people really need to supervise there children better
Thank you for the feedback Aaron. We created two 'Childrens Hour' slots to help prevent this from happening on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We encourage parents of children 8yrs old and younger to attend these hours only. That way with our cat lounge attendant, and more parents in the room, kids will be better closely supervised.
It says on the rules to see the cats that children 12 and under have to be supervised by parents...
So, we have several kids and we have actually been asked by our local shelter to volunteer by letting my kids play with the cats. I'm not saying the kids shouldn't be supervised by their grownups (that's a given in my world), but I do know that cats and kids are both really good for each other and gives the cats a better chance of being adopted.
Very good
