Try looking at Island Sanctuary in Port Clinton. Ask for Nancy. I believe they had a neglected pair come in that had to be shaved down. They have been vetted. They have to be adopted as a pair. Call and ask for Nancy if you are interested. They will also have to clear you and your home through visitation. They take adoption very seriously. I found their organization very helpful and caring. They will want the same for their rescue furever home.
yes they get them often you have to go in and check periodically
