Family & friends of the patients may stay at the facility in the patient's room or in 1 of the 3 family lounges. If you are looking for a hotel instead there are multiple options within a 3 mile radius of the Angela Hospice Care Center.
You can stay right there with your loved one in the room. The couch "flips" into a bed & it's actually quite comfortable. There are 3 family waiting rooms you could also sleep in that have a pull out bed inside the couch. Idk how comfortable those are- I can only attest to where I slept. I was there for 3 weeks until my mother passed last Saturday. The staff are absolutely incredible. Not only do they take care of your loved one, they take care of you and the entire family as well. Their bedding is comfortable. I used to push the"flip" bed next to my mother's bed and I'd make her bed level with my bed so that I could be as close to her as possible and she could touch me and we could have conversations while she was still lucid. There are even complimentary things for you to eat in the family fridge and you can order a tray also. Great food! The family shower room is nice and so is the laundry area. I loved it there and would not trade the time I spent there for anything in the world!
You can stay at the facility in the family rooms or in the patients room on the pull out couch or recliner.
