Hello! We charge $0.10 per foot plus $24.95 for the DVD for 8mm and Super8 film. We can fit about 1700 feet onto a DVD. The small reels that fit in the palm of your hand are 50' reels, larger reels usually have a footage gauge on them. If you bring in your reels we can add up your footage for you. I dont recall exactly but I do remember the price was much much lower than any of the mail-in places I checked out. They wll give specifics over the phone..
They can do just about anything over there. I think their pricing is extremely reasonable, so just give them a call and ask.
I only transferred VHS and 8 millimeter cassette type media. There are several options for storing the data on the DVDs. The price depends on which option you choose but it seems like it's right around 20 to $25 / DVD.Transferring from 8 mm reel to reel is probably more complex than from magnetic tape so I don't know if that pricing will hold true.
