Wasabi is actually a really hard ingredient to produce... Most of the time places will say it's Wasabi when in fact it's just horseradish colored with a little food coloring. It really makes no big difference to me seeing that horseradish is a close a cousin to wasabi... you're more likely to get real wasabi from Japan.
