John Mitchell you can come to Ken Graff Hyundai by 5pm. If you have something other than a Hyundai I recommend making an appt. So we can get the filter before you come in. :) Ryan has given you the instructions to diy. If you do then make sure you get that plug back in properly and check the ground where you park for signs of leakage. 👍
First Identify the make of your car, then drive to that dealership. Look for the service drive and pull in.. Tell them you want an Oil change. Or Go to an Automotive store, ask for an Oil Filter and amount of Oil required to do your change. Tell them your Make, Model, Year, and engine size.. Jack up the front end of your car, insert Jackstands. Use an oil collection pan. Twist your filter so that it starts draining into the pan, and pull the plug near the front of your engine at the lowest point, so that it drains into the pan as well... Wait for all of the oil to stop dripping, twist the filter off the rest of the way and wait a little longer. Take a bit of new oil on your finger and wipe the around the rubber ring on the new filter to lube it. Twist it on in place of the old filter. Replace the oil plug. Then fill the Oil back up from under your hood with the supplied amount of Oil for your Make and Model of vehicle. Check the dipstick to see if you're engine is "full". Voila!
