On general principle, you don't have to call the destination in advance if you're having a vehicle towed somewhere. Unless the destination is somehow secured, or has very limited parking space. The towing service will just drop the vehicle in the destination yard somewhere, and that business will generally wait a reasonable period for you to contact & let them know what needs to be done with it.
My Geico will tow it, I am wondering if I need to call KIA first?
They would probably add the tow bill onto the repair bill
