I put in a custom order for a Telluride, was told to expect a 6-8 month wait. It has been 10 months already, and when I call to get an update there is no ETA on when it will arrive. Very little transparency in the process. Edit (4/12/22): Visited the dealership was told to expect 3-4 more months (14 months total since placing the order). However was also told that in July the new model year comes out and then the pending orders are deleted and reshuffled. Going to keep doing a monthly visit to the dealership to get a status update. Fingers crossed that I get my car someday. When I do I will post an update with the final result. In the meantime just double the initial estimates that you are told and you will probably be closer to an actual timeframe. Edit (11/1/22): I did finally get my Telluride. Total wait time was just over 13 months. When it came down to the actual day that we were purchasing the vehicle Rocky (our Sales Agent) was very fair with us and stuck to the terms we agreed to at the beginning of the process. In the end we are happy with the car and, other than having to wait a few extra months, we are happy with the purchase experience. Since I know that some of the wait time was out of their control I am editing my review to 4 stars. Had they messaged that wait time better and been more transparent about that then it could have been a 5 star review.

License plates are mailed to the registration address unless it is a PO Box or apartment. In those cases the license plate is held at the dealership for pickup.
Contact the bank or credit union that your vehicle in financed with. This information can be located in your paperwork. If you have not received your paperwork contact our Finance Department for help.
On general principle, you don't have to call the destination in advance if you're having a vehicle towed somewhere. Unless the destination is somehow secured, or has very limited parking space. The towing service will just drop the vehicle in the destination yard somewhere, and that business will generally wait a reasonable period for you to contact & let them know what needs to be done with it.
