Who would be the best (experience) doctor for first time hip replacement surgery. ? I'm am just terrified of this procedure, but have to face it.

Dolores, as a nurse hip replacements are easier then knees. As per my therapy friends. I'm seeing Dr. Old for my knee. I appreciate his honesty and is very thorough during visits. I am told he is very protective of his patients. I had a 2nd opinion from him & I'm scheduling surgery next week.i cant wait to walk pain free!

Thank you for the answer- I've seen dr.Old 3 times now, and Im just percrastinating now with fear. I hear encourageing experiences from others , but ,of course , there's always a risk. Glad you named Dr. OLD- how's THAT for a coinsidence!
