The situation there is perpetually hectic and nonstop it seems. Perhaps that's lending to employee frustration and thoughtlessness. I say they ramp up on customer service training and morale. Also, employing uneducated and purely ignorant individuals is the problem. I mean it is Walmart after all. While current generations are frustrating we're not all rude and disrespectful!
Each generation seems to be getting ruder and more mannerless
I would agree and go to the Avon one. I noticed everyone was more polite the last time I shopped there. I don't like the Lorain Walmart.
The Walmart in Lorain is always rude. I would go to another Walmart that is more friendly. The one in Avon or Elyria. Is always super nice and ready to help in any way .
Travis Hicks I was about to reply in the same. That's the problem the younger Millennials. No Manners. They should place more seasoned personnel in direct Customer Service positions. Or be more diligent in the Training on the job. Stress politeness or Termination. It's not always the Staff some people just Don't know how to act in public period! But there are things Wal-Mart could do to improve employee/customer relations.
Customers shouldn't have to pay for something that they didn't do. When they come in they look forward to friendly customer service from the employees and that's what keeps them shopping there. The stress the management goes through is more than employees can understand because they just like the employees have a boss to check in with. Stress is part of life but should NOT be passed to the customers we serve. I have always loved Walmart but I am growing more and more disappointed with this location in Lorain.
This Walmart is going down Hill fast all because of both management and the thiefs that go there to steal everything that ain't bolted down. Until the thiefs stop giving the employees a bad time the attitudes will stay there
Shannon McPherson, the word is thieves, not thiefs. Maybe if Walmart paid people a decent wage their employees would have a better attitude. Older people don't seem to understand how hard it is to get by these days. Also, tax payers should not have to subsidize Walmart employee's income. I don't think I would have a great attitude either if I had to break my back for 9 or 10 dollars an hour.
