You select the oil to use. If you are allergic to certain foods, let them know and they will clean grill and cook your meal separate from the others. Havingsaid that, there is a lot of cross contaminatjon of ingredients, so highly allergic people should not eat here.
As an employee we do not have peanut oil. We do have a peanut sauce and peanuts on our toppings bar. If you are afraid of cross contamination ask a supervisor or manager to get the sauces from the back. As long as you express your concerns they are more than happy to assist you.
Will use a different oil on request let them know when they seat you. They will give you a bowl of a different color to use. Have not had a problem, We have a daughter with peanut oil allergies and she has not had problems. Most of the oil you put on yourself and they use water on the grill to cook the food. Only thing we ran into was caused by people dropping nuts into other food when they make up their bowls.
As a server there, when you sit down ask your server for an allergy bowl and say what the allergy is, the server will get the bowl for you and tell the cooks what your allergic to. Upon the chefs getting your bowl they scrap the grill off, wash it with a bottle of water, and scrape again, than to prevent any spill over they leave a large margin between your food and the others! I hope this helped!
Read Ross Wilson's review; I think he got it spot on. I saw them do what he said when I was there last.
I saw peanut sauce but I'm not aware of peanut oil
