Yes, you can use it for your research. You will need your wildcard to access the library during open and closed hours. The 2nd floor reading room is open 8-5 with wildcard access only, the 27/7 areas in New Falvey are the 1st, 3rd and 4th floors. You can only access the 3rd and 4th with a wildcard during if the building is closed. Also 2nd floor in Old falvey is 24/7.
The library is open to the public weekdays 9-5 and anytime 24/7 with a Villanova U. ID. Full service hours are listed at library.villanova.edu
