I’m 17 and about to move to Texas and my friend is buying the ticket in Texas, if they send me a picture of the ticket will I be able to use it at the Des Moines airport? If not how can I use the ticket they bought for me to get from IA to TX?

Ask for electronic copy of ticket by e-mail. Take a print and use it.
