Go to Www.usps.com and click the passport link. It will walk you through setting up an appointment. Bring your birth certificate and drivers license and completed application to your appointment. Takes about 15 minutes. Total cost is $161.25, cash or debit.
Last I knew they were by appointment only. I don't think they do walk-ins.
