Probably takes about as much time to stop and let the greeter check your receipt as it would a shoplifter to get out without paying. MMMmmm, what if it was your business? Airport security checks belongings, so I hope you do not fly alot.
There's one woman who feels it's her job to stop every single person and chitchat. I am already getting upset by the long time needed to check out. Add more time to melting my ice cream, spoil milk and thaw frozen goods. Not coming back for grocery goods, so that will cut out 70% of my visits here. It's a blessing really, as Walmart builds it's business on the exploitation of life insuring it's employees with no support to the families, getting corporate welfare via tax breaks, paying low wages, using automated checkouts that suck time out of your day, and exploitation of all suppliers which forces all labor markets to exploit their workers the same way.
Me it makes you feel as if they think you have not payed for something
