No, there is no swimming from tent sites. We have a beach for lake swimming as well as a pool. The water is tested weekly for our guest's safety.
Many spots have water access, yes, but there's also a lot of lily pads along the shore so you may prefer to enter from the "sand beach" side which is groomed. The lake water is clean and beautiful.
