Why was my outgoing mail left in the box? The mail person opened the box, tossed my incoming mail to the back of the box and left the large and small envelope I had to go out in the box. This meant a trip to the PO just to get my mail out today.

Did you put your red flag up? They dont know if the mail that is in there is left from the day before if you did not get the mail out from prior days. If the red flag is up then they know you have outgoing mail.
