How far from the parking lot is the park?

There is a blacktop parking lot that can park 16 car, and there are two handicap parking spots too. The parking lot is located directly behind the observatory and astronomy plaza. There is also overflow parking on the grassy area along the driveway entrance. We can park over 40 cars there.

We parked in the state park, near rental cabins, then had a 3 minutes walk through trees and a playground.

There's a small parking lot at the park itself, but a larger one is far enough away that they had to run a shuttle to/from it for the event I went to there.
