You can walk 2 blocks and get on a streetcar that takes you to Bourbon Street.
All day pass for 2 peoole is only 6 bucks. The Saint Charles Streetcars(green) will take you to Bourbon at Canal. Then either walk or catch the Canal Street Streetcar. Service is sporadic on weekends, evenings, and especially and holidays
I agree with the previous comment. Get an all-day trolley pass. It's about 2 blocks away. Well worth it. You'll do plenty of walking still.

We walked the very 1st day and it took us about 30 mins ... if you get on the street car it takes just under 10 mins
